1 lb. organic ground beef
1 yellow onion, diced
3 cloves of garlic, crushed and minced
1 large carrot, sliced
3 celery stalks, sliced
Garden green peas
Sea salt
Black pepper
White pepper
Flour
Beef boullion
Brown rice
Brown ground beef. Add onions and garlic, salt and pepper, white pepper. Stir in sliced carrots and celery. In liquid measuring cup, combine water and flour and boullion to make roux. Pour slowly in ground beef mixture and stir. Add peas. Simmer over low heat. Serve over brown rice.
**This is my version of something my mom used to make. Another good emergency meal: quick, easy, and made of staples that are usually around.
